Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

At Ayurvedam Bharat, we understand that sometimes you may need to cancel your order. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which orders can be cancelled and the applicable charges, if any.

2. Cancellation Before Shipping

2.1 Full Cancellation: You can cancel your order at any time before it is shipped without any cancellation charges. To cancel before shipping:

  • Contact our customer service team immediately
  • Provide your order number
  • A confirmation email will be sent once cancellation is processed

2.2 Refund Processing: If you have already paid for the order (UPI or other online payment methods), a full refund will be processed within 3-5 business days to your original payment method.

3. Cancellation After Shipping

3.1 In-Transit Orders: Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled directly. However, you have the following options:

  • Refuse Delivery: You can refuse to accept the delivery when it arrives. The package will be returned to us, and we will process a refund once we receive it back (subject to return shipping charges)
  • Return After Delivery: Accept the delivery and then return it following our Refund Policy guidelines

3.2 Cancellation Charges: If you cancel an order after it has been shipped and request a return pickup, return shipping charges may apply (except for defective or incorrect products).

4. How to Cancel an Order

4.1 Online Cancellation: You can cancel your order through:

  • Your account dashboard on our website (if order is not yet shipped)
  • Using the order cancellation link in your order confirmation email

5. Cancellation Timeframes

5.1 Immediate Cancellation: Orders placed but not yet processed for shipping can be cancelled immediately without any charges.

5.2 Processing Stage: Orders that have entered the processing stage may take 1-2 business hours to cancel, depending on the stage of processing.

5.3 Shipped Orders: Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled directly. Please refer to Section 3 for alternative options.

6. Cancellation Charges

6.1 No Charges: No cancellation charges apply if you cancel your order before it is shipped.

6.2 Return Shipping: If you cancel an order after shipping (by refusing delivery or returning after delivery), return shipping charges may apply:

  • Free return shipping for defective or incorrect products
  • Return shipping charges apply for customer-initiated cancellations after delivery
  • Return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount

7. Payment Methods and Refunds

7.1 UPI/Online Payments: For orders paid via UPI or other online payment methods, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 3-5 business days after cancellation approval.

7.2 Cash on Delivery (COD): For COD orders cancelled before shipping, no payment is required. For COD orders cancelled after delivery, the refund process follows our Refund Policy.

7.3 Refund Timeline: Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days from the date of cancellation approval.

8. Partial Cancellation

Currently, we do not support partial cancellation of orders. If you wish to cancel only some items from your order:

  • You must cancel the entire order before shipping, or
  • Accept the full order and return unwanted items following our Refund Policy

9. Cancellation by Ayurvedam Bharat

We reserve the right to cancel an order under the following circumstances:

  • Product is out of stock or unavailable
  • Pricing error or technical glitch in the order
  • Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transaction
  • Incorrect shipping address that cannot be corrected
  • Violation of our Terms & Conditions

If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund (including shipping charges, if any) within 3-5 business days, and you will be notified via email or phone.

10. Non-Cancellable Items

Certain items may be marked as non-cancellable due to:

  • Customized or personalized products
  • Products shipped from different locations
  • Special promotional items
  • Products that have already been shipped within hours of order placement

Such items will be clearly marked on the product page. Please review product details before placing your order.

11. Cancellation Confirmation

After processing your cancellation request:

  • You will receive an email confirmation of cancellation
  • The cancellation status will be updated in your account
  • For paid orders, a refund confirmation will be sent once the refund is processed
  • Please retain the cancellation confirmation email for your records
